About Nick
Nick Binder is a graduate from Montclair State University where he studied Film Making. After graduation, he worked freelance in positions such as Production Assistant, Camera Assistant, 2nd Camera Assistant, Grip, and Editor on feature films, commercials, and TV shows in both New York and Los Angeles.
His passion for film started when he was in middle school. The passion grew while skateboarding around his neighborhood with friends and his trusty camera. He loved shooting and editing videos trying to emulate the professional skate videos he watched daily.
The video that sparked it all was Lakai - Fully Flared. The over the top slow motion shots of stairs and walls exploding while the athletes were skating on them, along with the colorful checkered transitions, inspired him to go into the film industry.
Nick now spends his days animating, editing, learning, and creating stories that challenge and push him to come up with unique ways to bring his passion and style to everything he does.
